Nigeria, Nov. 21 -- WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows users to run two accounts on a single iPhone, according to information observed in recent TestFlight beta versions.

The feature, which appears in iOS beta version 25.34.10.72, introduces an "Account List" section in the app's settings where users can add, manage, and switch between separate profiles.

Early testers report that each account keeps its own chat history, privacy settings, notifications, and backup preferences. A user can add a second profile by registering a new number, signing in with an existing WhatsApp account, or linking a companion account through a QR code.
