Nigeria, March 26 -- The Super Eagles of Nigeria conceded late to share the spoils against Zimbabwe during matchday 5 of the FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

A win would have helped Nigeria climb to second place after Lesotho held Rwanda to a full-time draw and Benin was beaten by South Africa.

The game, which remained goalless in the first half despite Nigeria's numerous efforts, was heading for another frustrating draw until the 74th minute when Victor Osimhen scored to break the deadlock. Unfortunately, Nigeria conceded in the final minute, and the match ended 1-1 at full time.
