Nigeria, Oct. 30 -- The Kano State Police Command has apprehended two suspected armed robbers and recovered a stolen Ford Escape SUV reportedly owned by an officer of the Nigerian Air Force.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, it was revealed that operatives from the command's Anti-Kidnapping Squad intercepted the vehicle along the Kano-Zaria Expressway on Thursday, following credible intelligence that the suspects were heading towards the state.
