Nigeria, Jan. 13 -- The National Orientation Agency (NOA), in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has urged Nigerians to be cautious of the present dusty weather experienced in parts of the country.
The agencies in an advisory on Monday, warned that the weather is not harmattan, but an extreme form of air pollution that is harmful to the health of citizens.
The advisory revealed that the adverse weather condition may result in reduced lung function, respiratory infections, inflammation, and oxidative stress, which affects the body's balance.
