Nigeria, Jan. 4 -- Nigeria is now keeping more money in its pocket, saving an estimated 10 trillion every year following President Bola Tinubu's decision to scrap fuel subsidy, Senator Solomon Adeola has disclosed.
Adeola, who represents Ogun West Senatorial District and chairs the Senate Committee on Appropriation, made the revelation on Saturday at his New Year thanksgiving service held at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Ona-Nla, Ilaro.
The senator said that in less than two years, the President had uprooted what he described as a long-standing economic parasite that drained public finances and weakened the nation's economy.
