NIGERIA, Nov. 27 -- In a statement released on Wednesday night by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, authorities confirmed that three individuals listed under the Sokoto slot are not indigenes of the state.
The names identified include Alaka Abraham, Sa'idu Bulus, and Onoja John, who appeared on serial numbers 17, 22, and 24 of the national list.
According to the government, the Nigerian Army requires applicants to apply strictly based on their State of Origin and not their State of Residence, in line with Federal Character guidelines.
