Nigeria, Jan. 16 -- According to report the Canter truck was driving against the flow of traffic when it rammed into an oncoming trailer.

The force of the impact trapped four occupants inside the trailer. They were later confirmed dead after emergency responders arrived at the scene.

Personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) deployed a crane to lift the trailer and recover the bodies.

Two other victims, who were occupants of the Canter truck, also died in the crash.

Meanwhile, two additional individuals survived the accident and were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
