Nigeria, Dec. 27 -- The Yobe State Police Command has confirmed the death of seven persons and injuries to four others following a fatal motor accident along the Badejo axis in Potiskum Local Government Area of the state. The confirmation was contained in a statement issued to journalists in Damaturu by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Dungus Abdulkarim, on Saturday. According to the statement, the incident occurred on Friday December 26, 2025, at about 4:30pm, when the Potiskum Divisional Police Headquarters received a distress call about a serious road crash.
