Nigeria, May 20 -- Given the rapidly changing geopolitics, Africa is increasingly becoming one of the strategic pillars in Russia's policy. The Intergovernmental Russia-Tanzania Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation held its meetings in St. Petersburg, Russia's second largest city, the venue for comprehensive discussions and for a critical review of the current Russian-Tanzanian relations. The focus was re-examining the main economic areas of cooperation, achievements, obstacles and future perspectives.
