Nigeria, July 2 -- Chairman of Enyimba FC, Nwankwo Kanu, has urged his players to approach the upcoming Eko International Preseason Cup with winning mentality and restore the Aba giants' dominance in Nigerian and African football.
This charge was delivered in a statement issued by the club's media officer, Samson Orji, in Aba on Wednesday, ahead of the Lagos-based tournament scheduled to begin on July 6, 2025, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Kanu, a former Super Eagles captain and Arsenal legend, challenged the players to go beyond mere participation and strive for victory, reminding them of the club's proud legacy.
