NIGERIA, Dec. 2 -- Recall that an alarming audio message (voice note) has been spreading rapidly across various WhatsApp platforms, claiming that no fewer than 6,400 Fulani men were secretly moved into Anambra State for an undisclosed violent mission expected to commence in December.

The unidentified narrator further alleged that the information was leaked by one of the supposed Fulani recruits who were moved into the state who allegedly sought financial assistance to return to his home state of Katsina.

The voice note further listed several locations including Enugwu-Agidi, Isuaniocha, Urum, and Mgbakwu forests as alleged hideouts of the said Fulani men.
