Nigeria, Dec. 6 -- The Nigeria Police Force has announced that it is fully complying with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's directive banning the use of police officers for VIP escort and guard duties. In line with this order, the Force Headquarters set up a special team to monitor and enforce strict adherence to the policy. On December 6, 2025, starting around 10:00 a.m., the enforcement team conducted a thorough monitoring operation across major locations in Lagos State.
