Nigeria, Nov. 1 -- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended four senior officials over allegations of working against the party's interests.
Those suspended include the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umar Bature; National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade; and Deputy National Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha.
The decision was made by the party's National Working Committee (NWC) during a meeting held on Saturday in Abuja.
According to the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the officials were suspended for committing several offences that violated the PDP constitution.
