Nigeria, May 18 -- Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has stated that members of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will decide his future in the 2027 general elections.

He mentioned that it is too early to determine whether he will run for the presidency again.

In an interview with the BBC on Friday, Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar said his recent meeting with the Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi, could signal a potential alliance in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.

Atiku met separately with Peter Obi, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and former Governor of Jigawa State Sule Lamido last week.
