Nigeria, Jan. 23 -- The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra State has drawn a bold line in the sand, warning extortionists to keep their hands off candidates ahead of the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration exercise.
The warning came from the State Commandant, Mr Olatunde Maku, during a familiarisation visit by the Anambra State JAMB Coordinator, Dr Dinah Obiano, to the NSCDC headquarters in Awka on Friday.
Maku said the command was tightening its operational belt and reinforcing cooperation with JAMB to ensure that the registration and examination processes run smoothly, without foul play or sharp practices.
