Nigeria, Oct. 31 -- The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, has approved a major reshuffle in the Nigerian Army to strengthen leadership, improve command structures, and enhance operational efficiency across the force on Thursday.
In a Press release obtained by The News Chronicle, the Nigerian Army announced new postings in which Major General Bamidele Alabi was moved to the Army Headquarters as Chief of Policy and Plans.
Major General Jamal Abdulsalam will now serve at the Defence Headquarters as Chief of Defence Operations, while Major General Peter Mala has been appointed Commander of Training and Doctrine Command. Major General Samson Jiya is now Chief of Defence Accounts and Budget.
