Nigeria, Nov. 5 -- According to the agency, officers arrested a 28-year-old man, Afeez Salisu on November 1, 2025, at Akala Street in Mushin, Lagos.

He was allegedly packing and selling strong, illegal cannabis disguised as medical products in fancy pouches and cups.

The NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said that officers recovered 16.4 kilograms of different high-potency cannabis types, including Colorado, Arizona, Canadian Loud, and Ghana Loud.

The agency explained that these drugs are not real medicinal cannabis. Instead, they are powerful and dangerous substances that can cause serious mental and physical health problems.
