The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has alleged that Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, is violating the religious rights of Muslim students by disrupting their Ramadan prayers and forcing them to attend church services. MURIC's Executive Director, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, claims the university disrupted Ramadan prayers (tarawih) and prohibits Islamic practices like Salat and Hijab while making church attendance mandatory.The organization calls on the National Universities Commission (NUC) to investigate, citing similar allegations from 2019. MURIC also warns Muslim parents about private universities allegedly hiding religious biases until students are enrolled.
