Nigeria, March 16 -- Internet and technology businesses all over the country might have trouble for about three more weeks.

This trouble started because a cable under the sea got cut near Cote D'Ivoire in West Africa. This cut happened last Thursday and has made it hard for businesses to work properly.

The businesses most affected are those that rely on the internet a lot, like phone companies, banks, and publishing companies.

MainOne, one of the companies that manages the undersea cables, said that it could take two to three weeks to fix the problem.

They explained that they need to send a ship to get the parts needed to repair the cable. Skilled workers will then fix the cable and put it back in the ocean.
