Nigeria, April 23 -- A governorship aspirant of the Labour Party, LP, in the November 8 Gubernatorial Election in Anambra State, Mr John Nwosu, has described the April 5 Primary of the party in the state as a nullity that cannot stand.

Nwosu is insisting that the leadership of the party that conducted the primary has been sacked by a ruling of the Supreme Court on 4thApril, 2025.

The ruling had sacked Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the party. Still, the leadership had gone ahead and conducted the election, which produced Chief George Moghalu as its candidate.

Moghalu, after emerging victorious, said the leadership is a minor internal family crisis that will be resolved amicably soon.
