Nigeria, May 16 -- FC Barcelona has clinched the La Liga title for the 2024/25 season after beating Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium on Thursday night.

It is Barcelona's 28th title in history, putting them ahead of arch-rival Real Madrid this season, with two games to spare.
