Nigeria, Nov. 9 -- Professor Chukwuma Soludo has been declared winner of the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election held on Saturday, 8th November, 2025. The declaration was made by the Returning Officer for the Election and Vice Chancellor, University of Benin, Prof Edoba Omoregie, on Sunday, at the State Collation Centre, in the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Awka. Soludo, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the election, polled a total 422,664 votes, to defeat his closest rival, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
