Nigeria, Oct. 28 -- The Jigawa State Police Command has dismantled a drug network, arresting three suspects and seizing more than 13,000 illegal pills along with N400,000 in suspected drug proceeds. The coordinated raids took place in Sara, Bamaina, and Sundimina towns.
According to a statement released on Monday in Dutse by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Shi'isu Adam, the operation was based on reliable intelligence and targeted major drug hotspots in the state.
The joint effort by officers from the three divisions led to the recovery of 13,622 pieces of illegal drugs, including Exol, Tramadol, D5 tablets, Rubber Solution, Diazepam, and five blocks of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis.
