Nigeria, Sept. 3 -- At the signing ceremony, ICPC Chairman Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, decried years of hardship pensioners have faced due to fraud. "The era of tolerating such acts is over," he declared, stressing that PTAD's digitized database combined with ICPC's investigative and prosecutorial powers will deliver a "formidable force against pension fraud."

Aliyu said the pact will enable information sharing, joint investigations, and swift prosecutions of offenders. He urged Nigerians to back the effort, noting: "We owe it to our parents and grandparents to ensure their post-service years are marked by peace, not endless struggles."
