Nigeria, June 16 -- Terror struck again in parts of North-Central Nigeria late Sunday night, as suspected herdsmen attacked Tse Yange, a village mostly inhabited by Tiv people in the Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to local sources on Monday, the attackers arrived on motorbikes under the cover of darkness.

They stormed the peaceful farming community without warning, opening fire and causing widespread panic.

The traditional leader of the village was killed during the assault, and several residents were kidnapped.
