Nigeria, Dec. 24 -- The Nigerian government has announced that security agencies are working closely with major social media companies to identify and shut down accounts used by terrorists and criminal groups to promote their activities and raise funds. The Director-General of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Major General Adamu Laka, disclosed this at an end-of-year briefing held in Abuja.
