Nigeria, Dec. 24 -- Nigeria na Nigeria abeg - strong in mind, firm in principle, and resilient in spirit. While headlines scream about insecurity and hardship, the reality on the ground tells a very different story. Over the last three weeks, I travelled Abuja to Kogi - Lokoja, Ajaokuta, Itobe, Ida, Ajaka, and Ugwulowo - between 1pm and 11pm. Roads were alive with cars, buses, and trucks moving confidently. Even at 9pm in Lokoja heading back to Abuja, traffic was heavy and orderly. If kidnapping were truly rampant, these roads would be deserted. But Nigerians are moving, trading, living.
