Nigeria, May 3 -- The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment has extended the deadline for companies interested in managing the $10 billion Diaspora Fund which was originally set for May 6 to May 13, 2024.

This announcement came directly from the Minister, Doris Uzoka-Anite, in a circular issued on a Thursday in Abuja.

In her communication, Minister Uzoka-Anite emphasized the rationale behind this extension, highlighting the aim to give stakeholders more time to properly prepare their applications in accordance with the fund's guidelines.
