Nigeria, Jan. 28 -- In its Daily Weather Outlook valid for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, NiMet said moderate dust haze will dominate the Northern States during the morning hours, reducing horizontal visibility to between two and five kilometres.

The agency added that parts of Katsina, Kano, and Jigawa States may experience localized poor visibility of less than 1,000 metres, especially early in the day.

According to the forecast, the hazy conditions are expected to persist into the afternoon and evening across the North, with continued localized poor visibility in the affected states.
