Nigeria, July 31 -- Nigerian billionaire and Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, has appointed his three daughters to leadership roles within his business empire.

Dangote, whose net worth is estimated at $28.5 billion by Bloomberg, has started stepping down from some of his companies.

In June 2025, the 68-year-old retired from the board of Dangote Sugar Refinery.

On July 28, he also stepped down as chairman of Dangote Cement, the flagship company of his group.

These changes come as Dangote prepares for the official launch of his $20 billion oil refinery.
