Nigeria, Dec. 24 -- As Nigerians celebrate Christmas with the rest of the world, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has advised churches across the country to celebrate with wisdom, caution, and a strong sense of responsibility due to ongoing economic and security challenges.
In his Christmas message on Wednesday, CAN President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, described Christmas as a holy season that reflects God's love, hope, and the victory of light over darkness.
He noted that despite the difficulties facing the nation, the birth of Jesus Christ is a reminder that God has not abandoned Nigeria and that hope is still alive.
