Nigeria, Jan. 6 -- A 33-year-old man, Adegboyega Adeyanju, has found himself in hot water after he was hauled before an Ikorodu Magistrates' Court in Lagos over the alleged theft of 103 bags of cement valued at N1.045 million.
We gathered that Adeyanju, whose residential address was not disclosed, is facing a single count of stealing. He pleaded not guilty, setting the stage for a legal battle.
Prosecutor, Insp. Adegeshin Famuyiwa, told the court that the alleged offence was carried out on December 29, 2025, along Oreta Road in the Igbogbo area of Ikorodu. She said the cement reportedly belonged to the complainant, Mr. Edeh Ndubisi, and was carted away under suspicious circumstances.
