Nigeria, Nov. 29 -- Nigerian singer and songwriter Nissi Ogulu has dismissed reports that her brother, Afrobeats star Burna Boy, has removed their mother, Bose Ogulu, as his manager.

The claim began after an Instagram page, ChaftsAfrica, shared a post alleging that Burna Boy had announced he was no longer working with his mother. The report was later repeated on X (formerly Twitter) by another user identified as @Joyfultips, who wrote:

"Just heard Burna Boy fired his mom, this whole thing is getting crazier."

In response, Nissi quoted the post on X and described the claim as false. She wrote:

"FAKE NEWS."

No official statement has been made by Burna Boy or his team to support the claim.
