Nigeria, Nov. 2 -- At least ten people have been killed in separate attacks across Plateau State between Friday and Saturday, November 1, 2025, heightening fears of renewed violence in the region.
The News Chronicle gathered that seven residents were reportedly killed in Kwi community, Riyom Local Government Area, while three others were slain in Pushit, Mangu Local Government Area.
Confirming the attacks on Sunday, a community leader, Rwang Tengwon, said Kwi came under siege from suspected Fulani militia.
"Kwi community was attacked on Friday and seven persons were killed. One more person was killed on his farm Saturday afternoon, and another attack happened at night," Tengwon stated.
