Nigeria, Nov. 30 -- Ejiba town in Yagba West LGA of Kogi State was attacked by armed bandits on Sunday morning while worshippers were attending a service at a new Cherubim and Seraphim Church. Witnesses said the pastor, known as Orlando, his wife, and several others were abducted as congregants fled in panic. The incident comes a day after terrorists attacked the Isanlu Makutu-Idofin corridor in Yagba East, forcing residents and travellers to run for safety. The number of abducted victims from the Saturday attack remains unclear, but the tension has forced many residents indoors and drivers to avoid the route. The repeated attacks highlight worsening insecurity across Kogi communities.
