Nigeria, May 5 -- At least four travelers lost their lives while seven others sustained injuries after stepping on a landmine along the Maiduguri/Gomboru Ngala highway in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State,

Sources reported that the incident occurred around Gajibo village at approximately 1:45 PM on Saturday, adding to the ongoing security challenges in the region.

Among those killed were three women, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the attack.
