Nigeria, Nov. 30 -- Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have rescued 12 teenage girls who were abducted by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Mussa District, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
The Nigerian Army announced the successful operation in a statement on its official Facebook page on Sunday. According to the statement, the girls have been taken to a secure military facility, where they are receiving medical care and psychological support.
The victims, aged between 15 and 20, were kidnapped on November 23 while harvesting crops on their family farms. Their abduction caused fear and tension throughout the community.
