Nigeria, Aug. 1 -- National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has vowed that the party will reclaim the Plateau State governorship in 2027.
Yilwatda, who lost the 2023 governorship race to incumbent Governor Caleb Mutfwang, made the bold declaration while receiving Senator Simon Bako Lalong, former governor and current lawmaker representing Plateau South.
He said the APC under his leadership is set to reposition, strategize, and rally support to oust the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the next election.
"The APC is firmly rooted in Plateau. The people have seen the reforms and progress under President Bola Tinubu and want that replicated in the state," Yilwatda stated.
