Nigeria, Jan. 22 -- The title of the last column before this was "As I take my turn"! It was written in a moment of expectation arising from the realization that I would be delivering the 117th inaugural lecture of the Delta State University, Abraka. Although, nearly burnt out by the rigour of having to think and write the lecture, I did not anticipate that the event was going to drain me physically and psychologically.
