Nigeria, April 25 -- A video is currently making the rounds online in which Mr. Martins Vincent Otse-widely known as VeryDarkMan-voices his concern over the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) plan to allow the use of Temporary Voter Cards (TVCs) in the coming 2027 general elections. His concerns, while understandable in light of Nigerians' deep-seated distrust of INEC and government institutions, unfortunately misrepresent a legal reality that must be clearly restated.
