Nigeria, July 8 -- Presidential spokesperson Daniel Bwala says former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has effectively shelved his 2027 presidential ambition in favour of Atiku Abubakar and is now vying for the vice-presidential ticket with Rotimi Amaechi.
Speaking on Channels TV, Politics Today monitored by The News Chronicle, Bwala claimed Obi has been reduced to a "second fiddle" and may serve as Director-General of the ADC coalition's campaign.
"Peter Obi is now a non-issue. He has conceded to Atiku, and they've told him he'll be DG of the campaign. If they win, Atiku will do one term, and Obi will take over," Bwala alleged.
