Nigeria, July 1 -- Former lawmaker and APC member Cletus Obun has dismissed fears over the party's vice-presidential slot, insisting it remains secure.
In an interview with AriseNews monitored by The News Chronicle on Tuesday July 1, Obun said the APC is committed to inclusivity, using strategic appointments to deepen its grassroots presence.
In a brief on-air exchange, Obun pushed back against host Rufai Oseni's use of the phrase "I put it to you," while addressing speculations over zoning the VP slot to the North.
He emphasized that the party's focus is on restructuring ahead of the 2027 elections.
