Nigeria, Jan. 22 -- Former presidential adviser on political matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has warned that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is losing its grip on the North, describing the ruling party's 2027 election strategy as Fundamentally flawed.
Speaking on Arise News on Thursday, monitored by The News Chronicle, Baba-Ahmed said the APC's growing confidence, driven by high-profile defections, does not translate to electoral victory, particularly in the North and other parts of the country.
"The APC strategy is fundamentally flawed," he said, warning that the party's focus on recruiting politicians rather than fixing the country could backfire at the polls.
