Nigeria, Dec. 23 -- At least 10 passengers have lost their lives, while several others were injured in a tragic road accident along the Jos-Bauchi Road in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The accident occurred around 12:12 a.m. on Tuesday, shortly after a military checkpoint. It involved two articulated trucks and two mini buses (Ford Galaxy). The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Plateau State Command confirmed the incident through its Public Education Officer, Peter Y. Longsan. Rescue efforts were carried out by FRSC officials, the police, personnel from the Ministry of Works, and local residents in the area.
