Dhaka, Feb. 23 -- Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin on Saturday said the role of zakat is important to establish social justice and zakat has it magnificence and influence in the social system globally.

SK Bashir came up with this remark while addressing at a seminar titled "Role of Islamic Social Finance in Economic Empowerment and Human Development" as the chief guest held at Aloki Convention Center at Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in the capital.
