Dhaka, July 28 -- Faiz Ahmed Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser at the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, today said the youth, who make up 60 percent of Bangladesh's population, are the primary driving force behind the country's digital transformation.

"The government is implementing long-term plans in the ICT sector to make this human resource skilled and productive," Taiyeb said while presenting a paper titled Bangladesh's Growing Potential and Investment Environment in the Global Digital Economy at the L3AD.net Digital Innovation Summit 2025, held at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Saturday, reports BSS.
