Dhaka, May 20 -- A youth named Hasan Sheikh (18) was killed in a stabbing incident over a trivial matter in Alokdia village of Sadar upazila of Magura. Three others were seriously injured in the incident.Police said that on Sunday (May 19) at around 12:30 am, a youth named Rajib had an argument with mentally unstable Ripon over asking for cigarettes. Later, in a state of excitement, Rajib's brother Alamin stabbed Hasan Sheikh, Panju Sheikh, Mizan Sheikh and Shipon Sheikh one after the other with a sharp knife.When the injured were taken to the Magura 250-bed hospital, the doctor declared Hasan dead. The remaining three have been sent to Dhaka. Police are conducting a drive to arrest the killer in this incident.
