Dhaka, March 6 -- RAB-11 has arrested a young man named Mehedi Hasan (20) with an illegal foreign revolver and an empty magazine in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj.
Squadron Leader Md. Ishtiaq Hossain of RAB-11 confirmed the arrest on Wednesday (March 5). The arrest took place late Tuesday night at a temporary RAB checkpoint near the ACI Gate water pump area. Mehedi Hasan is the son of Md. Rahim from the Pathantuli area of Siddhirganj.
According to RAB, Mehedi Hasan's movements appeared suspicious while crossing the checkpoint. Upon being stopped and searched, a foreign revolver with an empty magazine was found tucked into the right side of his blue jeans waistband.
