Dhaka, Feb. 9 -- Bangladesh's former opener Tamim Iqbal received a grand reception from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) immediately after the final of the 11th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). His team Fortune Barishal secured the title with a three-wicket victory over Chittagong Kings in Mirpur on Friday.

During BPL 11, Tamim announced his retirement from international cricket. To honor his contributions, the BCB presented him with special mementos before the final's presentation ceremony. A tribute video was also played, featuring messages from players acknowledging his achievements as Bangladesh's highest run-scorer in international cricket.
