Dhaka, Oct. 6 -- World Teachers' Day was observed in the country on Sunday through various programmes as elsewhere in the world.
This year, World Teachers' Day was celebrated under the theme 'Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession,' emphasising the transformative power of collaboration among teachers, within schools, and across education systems, reports BSS.
As part of the World Teachers' Day celebrations, a reception was held on Sunday at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital to honour outstanding teachers.
